I have always loved art, photos and design even as a young kid. I remember loving the the way photos looked in magazines and the colors in pictures. This art instinct followed me as I grew and studied both photography and art in college. I started photographing jobs on the side and gained experience.
After a year or two of part time photo work, I decided to pursue my passion fully and opened Jen Snyder Design in 2008. Since then, I have enjoyed photographing kids, couples, families, tiny babies and people just loving life together. I reside in the Cincinnati Area with my very tall husband and two goofy sweet kids.

I love natural light; the brilliant golden hour sun or soft light reflected through clouds allows me to photograph people in the most natural way. My natural light photo sessions are on-location in places that reflect you and your family's personality and style most.
Sessions run around an hour. Session fee time is $150 plus tax. Prints and high resolution images are sold separate. Feel free to contact me for more pricing and session details.

The kids styled session is designed to give you some extra special images of your child. For this shoot, I help find a unique backdrop and a set for them based on their style and personality. I assist with the wardrobe and hair ideas as well as have stylish kids wardrobe pieces and accessories that can be used in your shoot. Makeup + hair artists can be hired out if needed for an additional fee. Up to 2 outfits can be photographed.
Session runs about 1 hour. Session fee is $250 plus tax. Prints and high resolution images are sold separate. Contact me for more pricing and session details.

I love doing documentary style newborn sessions because they more relaxed and easy for both you and your new, sweet baby. These sessions are done in the comfort of your own home. I still use natural light, but will find the brighter window sources available instead of using light sets and flash. Instead of lots of posed styled baby shots, I shoot more of a narrative style capturing your new baby connecting with your family. I do take some solo newborn shots, but again will be softer and more natural sleeping and awake shots.
This shoot typically runs about 1.5 hours (1 hour of shooting and half hour if needed for feeding, soothing, and diaper changing) Session fee time is $200 plus tax. Prints and high resolution images are sold separate. Feel free to contact me for more pricing and session details.
